Prof. JOHANNES MONNO
Keeping the balance between artistic, scientific and educational work represents Johannes Monno's central concern. His deep interest in the instruments and
the style of the different epochs resulted in five CD productions and various publications.
In addition to chamber music projects with artists such as Wilfried Jochens, Ingo Goritzki, Olaf Van Gonnissen, Thomas Muller Pering, Kolja Lessing,
the ensemble Rilegato and the Trio Gremonda, Johannes Monno has attracted attention by repeatedly performing fine solo concerts focussing on
thematically well-chosen programs.
He has held a professorship at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart since 2004.
He is the founder and artistic director of SICG Festival. |

Prof. ÀLEX GARROBÉ
This year, Catalan guitarist Àlex Garrobé is playing the opening concert. A first prize in the most important guitar competition Fundación Guerrero Guitar was followed by an impressive worldwide concert career with stations in all major concert halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Radio France Auditorium in Paris, Auditorio Nacional (Madrid), Palau de la Música Catalana (Barcelona) or the Lutowslasky Auditorium (Warsaw). His close collaboration with composers such as Salvador Brotons results in world premieres and works dedicated to him. Àlex Garrobé holds a Doctorate in Art and Music History from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He is currently teaching at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (Barcelona). So far he has published 8 CDs with Harmonia Mundi, Naxos, Opera Tres, Columna Música and J.S. Records. |

LORENZO MICHELI
After winning some of the most important guitar competitions, Lorenzo Micheli performs concerts worldwide as a soloist and in a duo with Matteo Mela under the name "SoloDuo".
His discography includes more than 20 titles, featuring music by Dionisio Aguado, François de Fossa's Quartets Op. 19, the sonatas of Viennese composer Ferdinand Rebay, a CD of 17th-century Italian music for Baroque guitar, archlute, and theorbo, a collection of arias and cantatas by Alessandro Scarlatti, the complete guitar concertos and the 24 Preludes and Fugues for two guitars by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, a double CD of chamber music masterpieces by Mauro Giuliani, the complete guitar works of Miguel Llobet, Antoine de Lhoyer's Duos Concertants, three anthologies of music for two guitars ("Noesis," "Solaria," and "Metamorphoses"), the sonatas for solo guitar by Michael Tippett and Olli Mustonen, and the albums "Morning in Iowa" and "Autumn of the Soul." In 2019, "Beethoven for two," featuring a selection of Beethoven's sonatas arranged for two guitars, was released by Decca Records. The latest recording by SoloDuo (12 Sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti) was released in 2024 on the French label Evidence.
From 2005 to 2014, he taught guitar at the Istituto Musicale Pareggiato della Valle d’Aosta in Italy. Currently, he is a guitar professor and head of the Music Performance Department at the University of Music in Lugano. He regularly gives lectures and masterclasses at some of the most prestigious music institutions worldwide. |

BOGDAN MIHAILESCU
Born in 1991 in Bucharest, Romania, Bogdan Mihailescu began his guitar studies at the age of 10 with Liviu Georgescu. At 17, he made his debut as a soloist with the Romanian National Radio Orchestra.
In 2012, he entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he studied with Olivier Chassain and Laurent Blanquart, while also benefiting from the guidance of Judicaël Perroy. He graduated with a Master's degree in guitar in 2018, followed by a second Master's degree in Instrumental Pedagogy from the Haute École de Musique de Genève in 2020 with Dusan Bogdanovic.
Bogdan Mihailescu has given concerts and masterclasses in Europe, Australia, South America and is a laureate of numerous international competitions, including the 1st prize at the José Tomás International Competition and the Kutna Hora International Competition.
Passionate about exploring new guitar repertoires, he regularly transcribes works by composers such as Chopin, Bach, Ravel, and Debussy. His debut album "Nocturne" features several of his transcriptions.
Bogdan is sponsored by Savarez strings and plays a guitar crafted by Australian luthier Jim Redgate.

Prof. TILLMANN REINBECK
Tillmann Reinbeck studied with Luis Martin Diego and Michael Hampel at the University of Music in Trossingen, as well as with José Tomás in Alicante. 2003 he completed his concert exam with Olaf Van Gonnissen with honours. After winning international competitions, he performs worldwide. He teaches at the state music academies in Stuttgart and Trossingen. In 2002, the critically acclaimed CD "Invocación y Danza" was released by Acoustic Music Records.
Since 2005, Tillmann Reinbeck has been a lecturer for guitar at the state colleges of music in Stuttgart and Trossingen.
He is a competent and conscientious teacher, active as a soloist and is a member of innovative chamber music projects, e.g. the Aleph guitar quartet.
2019 he was appointed professor at the Stuttgart University of Music.

MATEUS DELA FONTE
Mateus Dela Fonte has won numerous guitar competitions. He studied in Salvador (Brazil), Barcelona, Madrid and Stuttgart with Mario Ulloa, Àlex Garrobé and Johannes Monno, among others.
Concerts have taken him to various countries in Europe and Latin America. As a soloist, chamber musician, lecturer and juror, he has been a guest at festivals such as the International Guitar Festival Mikulov (Czech Republic), the International Guitar Festival Balatonfüred (Hungary) and the International Guitar Festival Guitarmania (Portugal).
His second CD "Paisagem Brasileira - Brazilian Landscape" was released in 2013 and is dedicated to the music of his homeland - in particular the Brazilian instrumental style Choro. Part of the CD was recorded as a duo with Vítor Diniz.
In the winter semester 2013/14, Mateus Dela Fonte received a teaching position for guitar with a focus on chamber music at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart.

KATRIN KLINGEBERG
Katrin Klingeberg began her studies as a junior student at the Stuttgart University of Music with Ihsan Turnagöl and then continued her studies at the conservatories in Hanover, Lucerne and Weimar. Most recently, she studied in Prof Thomas Müller-Pering's concert class at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Weimar and completed her concert exam in 2014. At the same time, she completed a master's degree and subsequent concert exam in chamber music with her partner Sebastián Montes at the renowned Kaltchev Guitar Duo at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts. After winning numerous first prizes at international competitions, the guitar duo Klingeberg-Montes is one of the most sought-after guitar duos on the international guitar scene.
Katrin Klingeberg has performed successfully in many European and South American countries, as well as in Japan and the USA. She is regularly invited as a lecturer for masterclasses and as a jury member at festivals and competitions. Since 2015, Katrin Klingeberg and Sebastián Montes have been the artistic directors of the Nürtingen International Guitar Festival, one of the most important guitar festivals in Europe. Katrin Klingeberg has been a lecturer at the Stuttgart University of Music since 2016. |
